Missy Elliot recently spoke with Essence.com on the
status of females in the male dominated world of
hip hop. Her wish for females in the industry is to
keep it pushin' and maybe a tour someday.
'My goal is to have an all female hip-hop tour because
that’s never been done. I would love to see that.'
Missy is one of the few who has lasted in the industry
and she has been a refreshing presence in hip hop.
