Nina Says "Save The Babies!"

Miley Cyrus, of Disney's Hannah Montana, is the latest Disney teen

queen to face humiliation. Miley posed for Vanity Fair appearing to

be nude, although she is wearing clothes. What is disturbing is that

at one point her parents were both at the photo shoot. At some point

wouldn't they realize that Vanity Fair is not an ideal cover for a 15 year

old. Try Teen Vogue or something along those lines. Vanity Fair, the

parents and Annie Leibovitz should be ashamed for taking advantage of

this baby.

Gary Dourdan Just Can't Get It Together.

TMZ is reporting that Gary Dourdan, star of CSI,was arrested Monday
on suspicion of possessing Heroin, Cocaine, Ecstasy and prescription drugs
after being found asleep in his car by police at 5am. This is not Gary's first
run in with the law, a few times for assault. It is also being reported that he

was fired from CSI last week because of his alcohol and drug abuse. Ms. Nina

just wants to know how high was he trying to get SMH, do the rehab and get

yourself together baby!!!

This Hardly Seems Like Justice.

New York Police Not Guilty of Manslaughter in Sean Bell Case. Sean Bell was gunned down on November 25, 2006 by three police officers after his bachelor party. A total of 50 rounds were released at Bell and two of his friends, no one else was killed in the shooting. All three black men were unarmed at the time. Wesley Snipes has been sentenced to 3 years in prison for not paying his taxes. All the money he has made and you mean to tell me he couldn't pay his taxes. Now Wesley you know better, I don't think that much time in jail is necessary but you gotta pay Uncle Sam or he will get ya!

Congratulations to actress Terri J. Vaughn. She

and her husband had a baby boy yesterday. This

is Terri's second child, but the first with her current

husband Karon Riley of the AFL.

Why would anyone fake their own disappearance for publicity, when there are People out there really missing and their families will never see them again. This is not a game and it's not cute. I knew this was fake when I saw the name Ricky Romance. People.com was first to report that Orlando, of That’s So Raven fame, was missing. He turned up some hours later claiming he was fine he just needed some time to himself. Ms. Nina says you need to get a real job, fake publicity stunts ain’t getting’ it anymore.

out why she wears sooooo much makeup. That red lipstick has

got to go, Now!!! She looks like a clown with all that ish on her face.

disappointed that Hilary is doing so much

mud slinging. Very disappointing!!!

Nina Says "Stand By Your Man, Maybe?"

So everyone knows that Carmelo Anthony was arrested for suspicion of DUI early (4:30am) Monday Morning. Well the media made a big deal out of the fact that he wasn't picked up from jail, instead DPD gave him a ride home. The media is claiming that his fiance La La refused to pick him up. La La and Camelo have both released statements today basically saying that La La stands by her man and that DPD offered to bring him home and she accepted. For the record Ms. Nina would have accepted that offer at 4 in the damn morning!! I have met Carmelo Anthony and he is a real cool dude, I hope he can put all this trouble behind him and focus on becoming the Man he should be as a father and as a NBA star that is looked up to by thousands of young fans. Athletes and stars may not want to be role models but they are and they should hold themselves to higher standards. In fact Ms. Nina says all adults should hold themselves to higher standards because a child is always watching.

So this is being reported on all the urban blogs, Turks and Caicos Premier Michael Misick, he is the husband of actress Lisa Raye, has been accused of rape. All the details are still not out but I'm sure they are coming. Ms. Nina is sad about this because you always want to see prominent black folks doing the best job they can do. If this is true it is just disgraceful and it maybe the end of a marriage that has rumored to have been in trouble from the start. I don't think Ms. Lisa will be standing by this man if the accusations are true, at least I hope she won't!!!!!!







Rozonda "Chili" Thomas of TLC revealed to blogger Necole Bitchie that she still loves Usher and they had an undeniable chemistry. She says that she is no longer in love with Usher, but Ms. Nina thinks she is still just a lil bit in love with him. She does say that she has never had a love like she had with Usher. Chili also said the one who got away, the good guy who really loved her, was none other than Marlon Wayans. I didn't even know they dated. Yes I'm back, I've been MIA for a while. I do that from time to time when there is really not much going on in the celeb world.

I was disturbed to learn that Denver Nuggets star forward Carmelo Anthony was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Monday morning. I love the Nuggets they are my favorite NBA team, but there is never a reason to drive while under any kind of influence. Mr. Anthony held a press conference this morning to apologize to fans, friends, family and the league.

I hope there is never a next time but for all those who have been arrested this year, or for future offenders, Ms. Nina says baby just sleep it off. There is always time to get where you need to go in the morning. Thank goodness no one has been injured in any of the celebrity DUI arrests this year. Take heed prison break star Lane Garrison is still serving time for his DUI that led to the death of a 17 year old.

Toni Braxton was briefly admitted to the hospital last night but has been released and she is doing well. Toni is still headlining in Las Vegas. Nina says get well and take care of yourself.

I like the video, the song is okay but I don't think anything will compare to Confessions, I'm just sayin', but I'm still a fan so do yo thang' Mr. Raymond.

Jada Pinkett-Smith was spotted at LAX on Sunday lookin' as young as she wanna be. These young starlets need to take tips from Mrs. Smith on how to keep your youthful appearance because she look sooooo young and cute it's crazy. Do yo thang girl, I love it!!!!!!

Shaq & Shaunie were at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XIV at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa on Saturday in Scottsdale, Arizona. I know they are suppose to be divorced or getting a divorce but I love these two together, I hope they can make it work.

Today is the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. We all should reflect upon what Dr. King stood for and what he believed in and I can guarantee you it didn't have anything to do with being rich -n-famous. In 2004 I visited the Lorraine motel in Memphis, TN were he was assassinated and it was truly a moving experience. They have a replica of Dr. King and his assassin and how they were positioned on that day, if you ever are in Memphis you have to check it out. Nina Monroe Says "Good For Them!"

I didn't post this yesterday because I thought it was an April fool's joke. Apparently Jay-Z and Ms. Bey applied for a marriage license yesterday, so if this is true I wish them the best with the wedding and the marriage. Ms. Nina is all about the lovin'!!

Nina Says "Not Again"

So I've been MIA since last week, of course I don't post on the weekends but it's been such slow news I just haven't had the desire.

Anyway I will start by saying my prayers go out to the Levert family because they have lost another soul. Sean Levert, 39 year old bother of Gerald died in prison last weekend, he was in jail for non payment of child support. God Rest His Soul.

On a lighter note, Michelle Williams and Solange Knowles both have new music out. Here they go again comparing these two to Ms. Bey. But I think these girls have a talent all there own and the new music is not bad. I really like it!!

Okay so I think that's all I want to post for today. Like I have stated in the past, I try not to be too negative towards celebrities but just to give a little constructive criticism. Not that they ask for it but when you're in the public eye you should expect it. I am by far not as harsh as some bloggers out there who go hard on these celebs.. Sometimes I think they go overboard with it but that's just me. A few notes to all the bloggers out there, just because two people hang out a lot doesn't mean they are dating, when guys hang out that doesn't mean they are gay, when people want to change up there look that doesn't mean they are swagger jackin', let people switch it up sometimes because change is good. Let people hang out with who they want to hang out with or be friends with, celebrities need friends too.
