50 Cents' House Burned Up!

The house that 50 cent went to court to have the mother of

his child and his 10 year old son put out of caught on fire today.

The house was completely burned and occupants had to be

taken to the hospital, no one was injured but the fire department

says the fire is 'suspicious'. This means they suspect arson,

could 50 be behind this that would really be a shame. I hope

his son wasn't in the home at the time because that would be

a disgrace.

Diddy Plays Daddy.

P. Diddy was out and about at an LA park playing with his

beautiful twin daughters before he attended game 5 of the

Lakers vs. Spurs at the Staples Center. That's what Ms. Nina

likes to see Mr. Combs being Daddy instead of Diddy, now

that's a good look.

Toni Braxton Focuses On Health.

Toni Braxton will end her two year run in Vegas to focus on her health.
Toni was taken to a hospital in April for medical reasons and she has

decided not to return to her Vegas show. It is still unclear what she

is suffering from but we wish her the best.

Kenneth `Babyface’ Edmonds To Be Dad Again!

Babyface, 50, has two sons with ex-wife Tracey Edmonds. He and his

35-year-old partner, Nikki Pantenburg, are now expecting a baby. The

baby is due at the end of 2008. Congrats, keep those babies coming, it's

crazy how many celebs will be welcoming babies this year.

I can't list them all there are so many but congrats to everyone, Ms. Nina

wishes the best for all!

Steven Tyler Went to Rehab To Recover From Foot Surgery?

Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler is claiming he went to rehab

to recover from foot surgery. Who the hell believes this, why

would you go to rehab to recover from foot surgery. These people

are ridiculous with this ish. Kristen Dunst went to rehab for

depression and Steven Tyler goes to recover from foot surgery??

Don't these people know that there are actually hospitals for

these very different needs and it just sounds ridiculous when

you say you went to rehab for anything other than you are

recovering from some sort of drug or alcohol addiction. Wow,

remember when Isaiah Washington went to rehab for dropping

the f bomb on set. Ha!

Is Oprah Still The Woman?

The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Oprah's television ratings have gone down since she started campaigning for Barack Obama. The truth of it all is that the ratings were already on the decline going from 9 million viewers in 2005 to 7.8 last year, to 7.3 this year. Her magazine sales have also seen a 10% drop. Don't count Ms. Winfrey out yet, she still has the number 1 rated talk show. But really does the decline have anything to do with her campaigning. Personally I'm just not feeling Oprah these days. Being an African American women I would like to feel included when I watch her show or look at her magazine but instead I feel like I am excluded from the issues she covers on her show, and have you looked through her magazine, there are scarce pictures of any African Americans. Now I am certainly not saying she should only cater to African Americans but she should at least include us. I like media that includes me so I will watch and read just about anything I feel included in. I love the View and Ellen is the ish so that has to say something right? Well I'm sure Ms. Winfrey could care less about what Ms. Nina has to say, so gone girl make that money how you make it.

Surprise, surprise George Clooney and Sarah Larson have split.

Did anyone really think Mr. Clooney was settling down with

this girl. He has said it time and time again, he doesn't want to

get married and he has no interest in having kids. So ladies if

you think you are the one who is going to change this bachelor

til the end, think again Mr. Clooney is a woman eater. Ha Ha!

Ludacris and Tommy Lee hit the stage for a duet Wednesday at a

launch party for Planet Green, Discovery Communication's new

eco-friendly network. Ludacris is always giving back and he supports

many different humanitarian causes. Ms. Nina loves it when the

celebs. really get involved Luda is one of the few who actually gets

involved. Some celebs just attach their names to a foundation or charity

and they have no clue what it is about or what they are supporting.

To all the celebs out there, whenever you want to support a charity be

active and really participate, get in there and get those manicured hands

dirty baby.

As if it were a big secret, as speculated Ashlee Simpson is indeed pregnant.

And unlike the denial of getting a nose job, Ashlee didn't want to confirm

the pregnancy until after the first trimester. It's understandable because

many women decide not to tell family and friends until they know the

pregnancy is going well. Congrats to them, they are a cute couple but I

don't which one is cuter. Any who, I wish them well, unlike Jessica

Ashlee seems like she knows who she is and what she wants and she goes

after it. Big sister should take some notes instead of wandering around

aimlessly looking for a man to define her. By the by her new country

The New York Movie Premier of 'Sex & The City'

Sex & The City premiered in NY last night and the usual crowd gathered. Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson are pictured together. I don't know about you all but for some reason I just don't want to see this movie. I was happy the way the show ended and you could assume for yourself how the characters lives would turn out. I am also over Jennifer Hudson, I have been hearing some of her leaked music from her up coming album and I am not impressed. I think she peaked with that Oscar and there ain't no where else to go from there but back down. Not to be mean but I hope she gets some good tracks for this album, better than the ones I have heard. Her voice is amazing and it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

The first grandchild Dr. Martin Luther & Corretta Scott King’s was born I believe on Monday. Her name is Yolanda Renee King; her parents are Martin Luther King III and Andrea Waters King. Congratulations to the King family, babies are such a blessing!!

Mr. Moss Goes To Hollywood!

Shad Moss, aka Bow Wow, is now ready to focus his talents on acting. I’ve always liked his music because my kids were able to listen to it without me being offended. But now Mr. Moss is all grown up and he is ready for something a little different. “After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I’ve decided to shift my energy to something else I’m passionate about, acting,” Moss said. “I’m going to try to be the next Will Smith.” Despite what some say I think he can do it, he is one of the few rappers who can really act. Like Bow Wow I never thought he got the respect he deserved in the rap industry, so I am glad he is focusing on acting. Love or hate the facade you can’t deny the guy is talented. By the by, he is someone who really appreciates his fans, I’ve met Bow a couple of times and he is as sweet as peach pie, very nice and polite.

Miley Cyrus made headlines earlier this month by appearing to be topless

in a Vanity Fair spread. Now she is back in the news again for more racy

photos. The photos were supposedly sent by the 15-year-old to her then

boyfriend Nick Jonas. What is up with this girl, if Ms. Nina was her

mother I would pull her azz right out of the celeb. scene for a while.

I think she needs some time to reflect on this photo taking business

that she engages in. Vanity Fair was not the first instance of her

provocative posing. It's ridiculous at this point to let a 15 year old

who obviously needs some kind of boundaries or rules continue to do

what she is doing. Get a hold of that azz now before she ends up like

Britney or Lindsay. If Ms. Nina saw photos like this of her daughter

that she sent to some boy I would get in that azz, and she is 17. These

mothers have got to teach these babies to respect and love themselves.

Prayers Go Out To Xzibit.

Xzibit, Former rapper and host of MTV's 'Pimp My Ride'

turned actor, has suffered the loss of his son. Xavier Kingston

was born prematurely earlier this month and was not able

to breath on his own, he died yesterday. Xzibit talks about

the loss on his myspace page. Thoughts and prayers go out to

him and his family during this difficult time.

The trail for the child porn charges against R&B

singer/songwriter R. Kelly began yesterday. It's

about dang on time, I was beginning to think this

day would never come. R. Kelly should really be

ashamed, it's disgusting, what a waste of talent and

space. The Prosecution actually showed the sex

tape in question in open court yesterday. Who

the hell would have the stomach to sit through

that ish. I have no more words.

As nothing else was on television last night I decided to catch

the last episode of cycle 10 of ANTM. I was surprised, as I

am sure many were, that Whitney Thompson won. She is the

first plus sized model to win the competition. She is indeed a

beautiful girl, but in the modeling world she will never be a

top model. I don't think any of the winners from that show

have ever become anything other than catalog models. Why

did Tyra title the show ANTM. She should have named it

I Want To Be A Model or some ish like that. I think it's

just another way to exploit people for the sake of having a

show and good ratings. But I think that is true for all reality

shows. Oh well, Congrats to Whitney Ms. Nina loves it!!

Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo Split?

Jessica Simpson is denying reports that her and

Dallas Cowboy QB Tony Romo have split. Sources

said the two had split after Tony spent the weekend

partying sans Ms. Simpson. Jessica Made the

following statements for the June issue of Glamour

Magazine:

"He reintroduced me to myself. I thought that I had

to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change

with the guys you date. [I thought] I had to be more

intellectual. Come on--just be yourself! Tony taught

me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel

comfortable [being myself] again."

"This article could come out and Tony and I could be

broken up, but he still deserves all the accolades for

bringing me back to who I am."

As always Ms. Nina has an opinion on this. I think Jessica

should take time to get to know herself and stop letting men

define who she is, especially that father of hers. He gets

involved in her personal life entirely toooo much. But I digress,

it's not good to try so hard to be in love with someone if you

are not in love with yourself. I've said it before, you have to love

yourself first.

Monica has a reality show in the works. Ms. Nina

thinks it's great that all these people are able to get

their own reality show. Get that money while the

getting is good! But is money everything, I wonder

how these reality shows effect their personal lives,

it has to be hard, you can't expect any kind of private

life once you do a reality show. Can you?

Remy Ma's Wedding Canceled!

Remy Ma, who was sentenced to eight years in prison,

and Papoose were suppose to get married yesterday

but the wedding was canceled by prison officials when

it was discovered that Papoose was trying to smuggle in

a handcuff key. These fools are crazy, who the hell gets

married in Jail and who tries to smuggle in a handcuff

key. I don't understand why are these rappers so dead

set on throwing there lives away for foolishness. Eight

years for shooting someone over $2,000.00. That's just

idiotic, get it together people life is already too short!

The Melo Man Gets A Dose Of Reality!

So, I've said in the past that I am a reality show junkie

because that's all that is on television these days. I was

happy to learn that Carmelo Anthony is going to have

his own show on BET. I am not sure when it is scheduled

to air, but it will follow him during the summer months of

training and other ventures. Being a Denver native I get to

see Carmelo out and about during the season and despite

some of his legal troubles he is a cool dude, and he is still

young so he has many more mistakes to make. Hopefully

he has learned from his most recent troubles that he needs

to make better decisions, because like it or not he is a role

model!

Nick Bollea Gets 8 Months

Nick Bollea, son of Terry 'Hulk Hogan' Bollea, was sentenced

Friday to 8 months in a Florida jail for his no contest plea

to felony reckless driving. I hope he has finally learned

his lesson, he is a habitual speeder and this time it cost

his good friend any quality of life he may have had.
