Ashanti's new album 'Declaration" hits stores today. It is
her fourth studio album and she said on 106 & park that
it was a hard album to do because she had to do it on her
own without her mentor Irv Gotti. It is no secret that
Ashanti has moved away from the guidance of Irv since
he revealed that the two had an affair while he was still
living with his wife. Irv and his wife have not lived
together for a few years now.
