For all the Simpson fans out there you will be happy to know the show will return. The negotiations between the voice cast of the Simpsons and 20th Century Fox is finally over and the Simpsons will be returning to television this fall for its 20th season, tied only with Gun Smoke as the longest running television show in history. It is the longest running animated series in television history. Contracts for the voice cast were renewed for four years with a huge raise of $400,000 per episode for top voice cast members i.e. Bart, Maggie, Homer, Marge, Lisa and Moe. Congrats to all working on the Simpsons, make that money y'all.
