Happy Friday!!

I have big money on the Steelers but either way I will party my a$$ off! I am getting ready to jump on this plane, I will be in Tampa Bay for the big game, I told y'all I had famous friends in high places but y'alls stankin' a$$es didn't believe me, I'm playin' with y'all, but I will be at the game one of my good friends in the NBA will be playing a game so he gave me his tickets, wasn't that sweet of him, thanks babe I appreciate it. This week a few people's careers bit the dust, of course Danity Kane has been over for a while but Dawn officially announced it this week.

I guess those nude photos of Adrienne Bailon didn't help her career like she thought they would. The Cheetah Girls are officially over.

But the one who bit it hard was ex Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.

In these trying times you would think people would be doing all they can to hold on to that paycheck!

Rihanna Is No Longer Banned

I have decided to do a post about Rihanna since she has been banned from my blog for so long. Don't get me wrong I loves Rihanna, I just got a little tired of seeing her on every site. But baby she's back and she will be performing for the VH1 Presents Pepsi Smash Super Bowl concert I believe tonight. Check you local listings for airtime on VH1.

Ervin Antonio Lupoe Was Terminated Not Laid Off

It seems as though the man who killed his wife, their 5 children and his self had been terminated from his job and not laid off as some have been reporting. It is so crazy because apparently he left behind a note stating that he and his wife had a suicide pact and why leave the kids behind. What a beautiful family and such a tragic ending, why would this even be an option for him. I can't understand how a person could kill anyone let alone their own helpless children. I just have now words. My heart goes out to their families and friends, this is just too sad. The police are still going over the evidence in the case so but they are pretty sure it was a murder-suicide.

Jennifer Hudson Is Back At Work

Jennifer Hudson was back at work filming the video for her new single "If This Isn't Love" yesterday. I am glad to see her back but I hope she isn't rushing it, I can't imagine her life right now. My heart and prayers are still with her.

Mamma No!!!

The rumors are afoot that Kelly Rowland has fell out with the Knowles clan and has fired Matthew as her manager. For me personally it is sad if it is true because I know the girls were really tight, like sisters. On the business side of things I think all the girls of DC should have had separate managers. I never thought it was a good idea for Matthew to be managing all the girls when one member was his daughter. It just always seemed unbalanced to me, not to say he was doing anything wrong but we all see how things turned out for all DC members, new and old. Hopefully part of this is just a rumor and the girls are still tight but Kelly has a new manager, that would be good.

Britney Is Back B*****!

Britney Spears posted some pictures of herself on her website getting ready for her world tour that kicks off in March in Louisiana. Her body is really toned and she looks to be 100% back on track, good for her and she should thank her Dad for stepping in and gettin' her right again. More celeb parents should take notes and I wont name names cause y'all know who y'all are.

Brad and Angie showed off those adorable twins, Vivienne and Knox, at the airport in Japan on Tuesday, how cute are they. The whole beautiful family arrived in Japan yesterday and all the kids are too cute for words.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Is Disgusted!

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is disgusted by all the talk about her sister's weight gain. Here is what she had to say. "It is embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman's weight or figure as a headline on Fox News." She posted this on her blog following the comments made about a recent picture of Jessica Simpson performing at a Chili cook-off in Florida on Sunday. I say Jessica shouldn't be embarrassed about her weight it's fine everybody doesn't have to be rail thin. Now that outfit she is wearing is an entirely different, sorry.

Bow Wow Is Still My Favorite

I know I haven't done a post on Bow Wow in a while but make no mistake he is still my favorite. Mr. Moss has been a very busy guy lately, from performing at the kids inauguration, to 106 & Park, to appearing on 1st and 10 with Skip Bayless, hitting the clubs with J.D. and just this week he hit up V-103 and again addressed the rumors about him being Karrine's baby daddy. I never really saw anything were Karrine actually came out and said that but I guess she inferred it and the blogs went crazy with it. Well, if there is a baby Bow Wow wants y'all to know "that baby don't look like me." Ha!

Speaking of Karrine she is now claiming to be pregnant by Darius McCray and they are saved and married now. Didn't they have a nasty blow up not to long ago, WOW I have no words.

The First Lady Can Wear Whatever She Likes

I am so upset by the fact that some African-American designers are giving the First Lady a hard time because she didn't go with an African-American designer for the inaugural events. Listen just because she is black doesn't mean she has to buy black. People are crazy with this ish, she can wear whatever the hell she wants to. The First Lady chose what would look good on her and I'm sure the color of the designers skin never crossed her mind. Who thinks like that, "oh by the way my dress has to look good and it has to come from and African-American designer." Those designers that were complaining need to find something to do because designing obviously doesn't take up enough their time if they had to stop to complain about this. Step your game up and next time she may pick one of your designs, how about that!

Taraji Is Still A Winner!

Taraji P. Henson did not win the SAG Award for best supporting actress last night, but she did win the red carpet. Taraji was dazzling in a Herve Leroux gown and H. Stern jewelry. Everything about her was clean, nothing out of place and the dress fit perfectly. By far my favorite on the red carpet.

Nina Monroe Says........President Barack Obama Is Black!

Y'all know I don't get on this thing at all on the weekends let alone at this time in the morning. My girlfriends and I have just concluded an intense discussion about why people are saying Barack Obama is not black. Let me just drop knowledge on y'all for a second, slaves that were brought here either went to the Europeans or the Indians and the race got mixed down from there, so in this day and age if you are saying Barack is not black, than none of us are black unless we are straight out of Africa, 1st generation. Let me enlighten y'all, during slavery the masters had it bad for the black female slaves so when they had children it became a rule that if you had one drop (1 quarter) of black blood you were considered black. This was done so that the mixed children of slaves would not receive any of the benefits of being white, although they were allowed to work in the main house they were still considered black and not white. Therefore the President of the United States is black, he is half white and half black but keeping to the way white people made it in the first place he is black. It trips me out how white people change the rules to benefit themselves. My ancestry consists of Irish, African American and Native American, but because the color of my skin I am black. Why is that? The same reason the President is black that's how. Get it straight and don't try to change the rules now, y'all should have been trying to change that ish back in the day when slaves was slaves. My ancestors were slaves to Cherokee and Choctaw Indians but I ain't trying to say "oh I'm Native American" I got roll numbers and all but because somebody in my lineage was black, I'm black and it is what it is get over it. The President is BLACK end of story, ask him about! I'm not saying he is not white, but he is black get what I'm saying.

Not even the President can escape the addiction that is the Blackberry and just like he fought long and hard to win the Presidency, he fought long and hard to keep his blackberry. For now the President will be allowed to keep his blackberry making him the first President ever to be allowed access to email. The access will be limited but he will be able email and keep in contact with a small group of friends and colleagues. This is a determined man who seems to get what he wants, world take hold this man is on a mission.

At Last!!!!!

I was so busy with events here in Colorado that I didn't have a chance to post yesterday. I have been watching the inauguration events that took place in D.C. from last Saturday up until late last night and aside from President Obama being sworn in, this was by far my favorite moment. What an amazing couple and they looked so elegant and in love, I loves loves loves this.

I cry watching a commercial so you know I was crying all up in the movie. I won't give anything away but the actors, the movie, everything was incredible, just go see it and y'all know how Ms. Nina feels about bootleggin', there will be none of that with y'all stankin' a$$es. It's a must see so go do that, enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

There are some big parties going down and I was happy to be asked to help plan them. At This Point Does Anyone Really Care?

Aubrey O'Day is posing for Playboy, not a surprise but hasn't she already shown the world all her naughty parts so why even bother. I guess she has to make that money however she can now that there is no more Danity Kane. I don't think she realized how fleeting fame can be. Diddy told that a$$ it was going to get dark and lonely; I guess she didn't believe him, it is a shame because I kind of liked Danity Kane.

T.I. Has A Documentary Coming Out On MTV

T.I. told y'all stankin' a$$es on the Howard Stern Show that his project with MTV is not a reality show it is a documentary. Y'all need to get it straight and keep it that way, just playin'. T.I.'s show is ROAD TO REDEMPTION: 45 DAYS TO GO and it will air on MTV beginning Tuesday, February 10th. The show will chronicle his life leading up to the day he has to turn himself in for his felony convictions last year. This is one person I hate see go to jail because he has turned himself around this year and has been doing so much for the community and it is just such a shame. All that sexiness, damn he is fine, going to jail for a year say it ain't so. T.I. has been around for years but I just became a fan this year and I am going to miss the hot piece that is T.I..

Nina Monroe Says........I Can Blog About Whatever I Want!

I don't know what it is but I have been on this 80's, 90's music kick. I think the music was so different back then and I kind of miss it. I've been trying to replace old records that had been stolen from me and I was trying to find Love Me or Leave Me by The Gyrlz. I know this is old school for most of y'all and I know y'all are like why is she posting this ish, but I digress. This record came out in 1988 and it is impossible to get unless you want to spend up to $200.00 on eBay trying to get it. These ladies only put out one album, I believe, and it is going for $200.00, it was a good album but that is crazy to me, so I guess I won't be replacing that album!!!

Jermaine Dupri Talks About The Split With Def Jam

Jermain Dupri is finally speaking out about his split with Island Def Jam. I was on global14.comlog this morning and saw the interview he did with Essence. I thought it would be good to post since all the blogs are going hard on how JD was fired from Def Jam. I don't get why some of these blogs are happy to see someone loses their job. Lucky for JD he will always have his talents to fall back on. Hate him or love him he is one of the best producers of our generation. I still love you JD baby do yo thang!

If this is true this dude has truly lost his mind, how the hell do you charge fans to access your website is that not the craziest ish you have ever heard of, especially when this cat is getting $20M plus a year just from playing basketball. The rich get richer, usually I am not mad at the hustle but in this case charging your fans to get on your website is a no, no!

A.I.'s Triumphant Return To Denver

Allen Iverson's return to Denver on Friday ended in a loss for the Nuggets, the Pistons won 93-90, mind you Melo is still out with a broken bone in his right hand. It was bitter sweet for Nuggets fans as Iverson received a standing ovation from the crowd before the game began. I love A.I. and I wish he was still here but Chauncey is a nice addition to the team so I guess you can't be mad at the trade.

Nonetheless, I got some great pics of me and A.I. and some of the guys from both teams to add to my collection. I was going to the post the pics but my partner ( I run an event planning service here in Colorado) said that I can't post the pics because it would be unprofessional since we do a lot of events for athletes and various people in the entertainment industry when they come to Denver, I decided she was right. I wish I could post all the pictures I have, none of them are compromising in any way, but I guess I'll keep it professional and keep posting pictures that other people have taken. How boring is that!
