Janet was suppose to perform in Montreal Monday when she fell ill. Still no details on why she was rushed to the hospital but she was treated and has been realesed.
DJ AM was released from the hospital last Friday and according to people.com he attended the memorial service of one of the crash victims on Monday.

Commencing in Atlanta, GA on October 1st, Walk Across America will take Bow Wow and other citizens who are excited about the 2008 elections to cities across the United States in an effort to encourage people, especially the youth, to participate in the contests happening this November and the political process overall.Walk Across America will travel by foot and bus through several cities including Philadelphia, PA, Washington, D.C. and New York City (full schedule below) making stops at various locations including colleges, universities and radio stations. Bow Wow is working with Declare Yourself and Black Youth Vote, two non-partisan organizations that will be assisting with the registration efforts at each stop and helping to reinforce the importance of youth voter participation. Students and elected officials from both major parties will also be invited to take part in the efforts in each city.Although he is only 21, Bow Wow, who is launching his Follow The Leader foundation this year, felt that it was important for him to become personally involved in this historical election and to help motivate other young people to become engaged in the process. "It's important for the youth to participate because we're tomorrow's leaders. We need to make sure that our voices are heard and have a say in the decisions that will affect our lives and our country for years to come," he says.In addition to Walk Across America, Bow Wow is currently wrapping up work on his sixth album, New Jack City, Pt. II, which will hit stores in December. And on Christmas Day, his latest film, Hurricane Season, in which he co-stars alongside Forest Whitaker, will debut in movie theaters. This television season, Bow Wow can also be seen on HBO's popular series, Entourage, in the recurring role of Charlie, a stand-up comedian.
Sharon Stone has lost custody of her son to her former husband after a judge said the boy, 8, would be better off with his father. Stone's adopted son Roan will stay with dad Phil Bronstein in San Francisco unless Stone moves there or her ex-husband decides to move. "(Bronstein) can provide a more structured continuity, stable, secure and consistent home that child Roan needs," the judge said. Stone, 50 was granted access to the boy.

This girl is only 15 years old and her parents should be ashamed for allowing her to hang out, no matter how innocent, with this grown ass man. Miley Cyrus has been spotted over the past week with Nashville Star stud Justin Gaston, and apparently her mom was with them. I don't get it?? I would kick my child's tail if he or she were dating an adult and shouldn't this grown man be ashamed that he is dating an underage little girl. Then the parents wonder why their children end up in rehab or jail after a couple of DUI arrests. These parents let these kids go wild once they get a little fame. This ish is crazy, I hope for her sake that they are not dating. It's gross!!!
Despite being separated from her husband Michael Misick, LisaRaye McCoy-Misick will dedicate her upcoming birthday celebration to raise funds for Turks and Caicos residents who are victims of Hurricane Ike. In lieu of gifts, LisaRaye plans to ask guests to donate to the cause, the star studded birthday celebration is scheduled to take place tomorrow at The Area Nightclub, 643 N. La Cienega Blvd. West Hollywood.
To all the TRL fans out there, TRL will be ending it's 10 year run in November with what is hoped to be a star studded celebration. The producers of the show said it has had its run and now it is time to let go. Personally I have not watched TRL since Carson Daly left so I guess I won't miss it, but back in the day it was a good show. It has been a platform for the entertainers and I am sure they will miss the plug. Best wishes to all who are currently involved with TRL.

Apparently Ms. Fox is not opposed to loving the opposite sex and she believes it is natural for people to be attracted to the opposite sex. Well looking at Ms. Megan Fox right now I feel a slight attraction because she is gorgeous. There are many women in the entertainment industry that when I see them I say "wow she is beautiful, I wouldn't mind hooking up with her if I were a guy." Could I really ever hookup with another woman, I don't think so just thinking about going below the waist just grosses me out. But to each his or her own, I don't oppose other people's choices in life. Megan is currently engaged to 90210 alum Brian Austin Green, who is very easy on the eyes as well.
I went to see the movie and I loved it. It didn't take number 1 at the box office but I believe it would have if Tyler Perry would have allowed it to be screened by the critics. I think they would have loved it and it would have garnered more promotion than it did. It is a good movie and y'all should go out and see it, I loved the matriarchs in this film and the acting was very strong by the cast. I give it two snaps around the world and back, y'all remember Men on Film.

Jennifer Hudson and her boyfriend David "Punk" Otunga are engaged. Where in the hell have I been I didn't even know these two were an item. Last thing I heard she was back with her long time boyfriend from back home. I guess I have been under a rock and you would think that with all the blogs and tabloids I read I would have know they were dating. I guess being engaged to a janitor didn't match up with her superstardom, but I don't know their story so I will just speak to all the other women out there who fall in love based on how successful the man is. Women need to get off that ish, as long as your man is making an honest living and he really loves you with all his heart than love that man even if he ain't a superstar.
Here I go again with the politics forgive me but it is important so these next few months I will blog about what I am observing in this dirty game that is Decision 08. I was watching CNN over the weekend in regards to the campaigning that is going on for this years presidential election and they kept showing the polls and McCain has a slight lead over Obama. Speculation is that the Sarah Palins VP nomination has won over white women and they are now jumping on the band wagon of Senator John McCain, it strikes me as interesting since I still haven't really heard anything impressive from Senator McCain or Govenor Palin. I remember hearing many people telling the African American community not to just vote for Senator Barack Obama because he is an African American, but rather vote in regards to the platform he is running on. Why isn't someone telling the white women who have decided to give their votes to John McCain because he chose Sarah Palin as his running mate and aren't we suppose to be voting for who we want as President and not who we want as VP. Is anyone going to vote this year on the best choice for this country or is it all going to be about race and gender. Sarah Palin was out campaigning over the weekend by herself and time and time again she gave the same speech she gave at the RNC. It's old news, what are you going to do for me and my family and friends that are living pay check to pay check? People that can't put food on the table every night for their kids, what are you going to do? People that have to choose between buying food and putting gas in their car to go to work the next, what are you going to do? People, especially children, that don't have health care, what are you going to do. The billions of dollars we are spending in Iraq, while they hold onto their billions of dollars and gain interest in an American bank, what are you going to do? I'm not telling you who to vote for I am telling you to do your research and make your decision based on the facts and not based on race or gender. It will be a mistake to vote for someone just to spite the other candidate because you put all of America at risk. Haven't we had enough????

Ice Cube is doing big things, as usual, yesterday he awarded a full scholarship to a student at a Minnesota College for music. Ice Cube himself selected freshman Josiah Kosier, at McNally Smith School of Music in Twin Cities, MN, for the full ride music scholarship. Ice Cube started the scholarship to help people wanting to persue a career in the music industry. He said he wanted to do this because there was never a school for him to go to when he was young and he had to learn the music business on the fly. Way to give back Mr. Jackson, I loves it!
