I Love The Nuggets, Happy Friday! Happy Birthday Carmelo Anthony!

This was probably the worst game the Nuggets have played the entire post season but I still love them. They'll be back, to all the haters get ready to start hating cuz they'll be back!!! Congratulations on being the Northwestern Division Champs, Congrats to being the #2 seed, Congrats to getting out of the first and second rounds and making it to the Western Conference Finals.

Congratulations to Kobe Bryant and the L.A. Lakers they showed up and they got it done and since I'm from Denver I gotta go with the West, my money will be on the Lakers from this point forward!!!

Ok, so while I was working and traveling I got a chance to check out Electrik Red's album How To Be A Lady, as well as Redman and Methodman's new album BLACKOUT 2.

I have to say BLACKOUT 2 takes me back to high school so I can't say that I hated it, I actually caught myself diggin' it. My fav on the album is A-Yo.

I love Electrik Red because they are different from what girl groups have come to be today and I loved the album. My favs are Devotion, Freaky Freaky and Drink In My Cup.

If you don't have these albums you may want to grab 'em!!! I haven't gotten around to listening to Eminem's Relapse but I will, I just have to be in the mood for Em but I'll definitely let y'all know what I think.

The B*tch Is Back!

Yes I have been busy working my real job but I wanted to pop in to say hey and first and foremost I wanted to send my Condolences to Mike Tyson and his family during this difficult time. My love and prayers go out to him and his loved ones.

I also wanted to say that it is a new day and all the hate needs to stop, life, love and happiness people. Start thinking about what is important to you and stop worrying about the next man's business!!

A Win Is A Win

The Nuggets almost had it but for the Lakers a win is a win. The Lakers pulled it out with a 105 to 103 victory over the Nuggets. The game was a good one but we have all seen the Nuggets play better. As Kobe put it, he had to dig deep to help his team get the win, so what does that tell you. If the Nuggets can do better and Kobe was diggin' deep that tells you there is no reason why the Nuggets shouldn't win game 2. I know it is hard when you're playing on someone's battlefield but look, if the Nuggets make their free throws and keep the Lakers off the glass they have nothing to worry about on Thursday. Y'all better tune in because no matter the outcome these games are going to be good. Go Nuggets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Owe Me Sex

I was on JD's Global14 site last week and I was listening to this song he has posted called Owe Me Sex for the forthcoming Ocean's mixtape. I thought the song hot, but what do I know because according JD via his youtube channel some of the ladies aren't feeling it. Contrary to Twitter belief, I am a lady and I like the song and personally I feel like there's some men out there that still owe me sex, how about that!

By the by, Happy Belated Birthday to Ms. Janet Jackson and Ms. Shaniah (JD's daughter). Janet's B-day was May 16th and Shaniah's was May 15th. Awwwwww, how cute is that!

Kanye West's Ego Is Sexy!!

Saturday my girls and I were having another one of our round table Grey Goose discussions and the topic of Kanye West and his ego came up. Listen why do people trip when Kanye professes he is the best. I mean how can you get mad because someone is telling you the truth. I have said in the past that I am not a hip-hop or rap aficionado but I do listen to the music and in my opinion Kanye West is almost the greatest rapper of all time. To me, myself and I he is only topped by Tupac (R.I.P).

I don't mind any of the stuff Kanye says about himself and I don't think it's about his ego at all, I think it's just about him being a genius at what he does and he can say whatever he likes. My girlfriends say that he goes a little overboard but they still love his music and we are all in agreement with the music, it speaks for itself. Can anyone honestly say Kanye is not the best rapper alive?? He is a lyrical poet and that is a rarity, the only other to ever exist was the late great Tupac (R.I.P). Y'all better respect Kanye's gangsta and stop actin' like he aint speaking the truth. Maybe all of what I said is true or maybe I am just obsessed with cocky egomaniacs, either way Kanye west is talented and sexy as hell, he may just be my new crush!

Lessons In Love

I was listening to Lloyd's Lessons In Love for the better part of the weekend and I can't believe y'all slept on this album. My favorites on the album are Year Of The Lover, Have My Baby, Love Making 101 and Party All Over Your Body. If you don't have this album you have to get it, it is a must have for those baby making sessions!

The Nuggets Will Face-Off Against The Lakers!

It was destined to be, the Nuggets will face the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. The series hasn't even begun and the sports world is already talking about the Lakers vs. Cavs. matchup for the Championship. Why are they still doubting the Nuggets, the Nuggets can beat the Lakers it's just a matter of them staying focused and playing defense. The Nuggets are a great team with amazing talent and the only time they get beat is when they beat themselves by losing their focus and composure. Unlike some teams in the NBA the Nuggets have more than one talented player carrying an entire team. So many of these guys are outstanding, from Carmelo "Mr. Clutch" Anthony to Nene, Martin, Smith, Andersen and the list goes on. But with the leadership of Chanucey "Mr. Big Shot" Billups, this team could very well go all the way. Doubters beware the Nuggets have come to play, "Can You Feel It?"

Epiphany Is All That & Then Some!!

I have been so busy I just got a chance last night to listen to Chrisette Michele's Epiphany and I have to tell you it is a must have. I loves, loves, loves this album, the entire album but my favorite on the album is All I Ever Think About. If you don't have the album you better get it!!!

I also had a chance to listen to Ciara's Fantasy Ride, and while I wasn't a fan of the entire album there are many tracks that I loved, so if you don't have the album go get that one as well. My favorite on the album is Lover's Thing featuring The Dream.

What's With The Desperate Ass Dudes On Twitter

I guess since it is Friday I can take this opportunity to share a crazy Twitter story. I really don’t understand why these dudes on Twitter are so damn dehydrated. I had been going back and forth with this guy on twitter over some BS. It started out with us talking about cooking eggs and he made a comment that got onto another subject so I commented back and all of a sudden he wanted a picture of me. I sent a twitpic but I took it down quickly, so then he wanted me to get out of my bed at three in the morning just to take a picture for him, with the date showing. Yeah right, listen I’ve explained so many times and people still don’t get it so I’ll say it like this. I have seen colleagues lose an opportunity on a $100k commission because the client didn’t like what was on their Facebook or Myspace page. When you are working with millionaires and sometimes billionaires they want to know they can trust you and that you are a professional. That being said I don’t owe it to anyone to put myself and my livelihood out there like that. This guy got upset about it because he thought I was a man. Ok, think what you want I could careless, but I think I took it too far because I thought it was funny, I thought ‘this guy can’t be seriously upset about me not posting my picture.’

Look, we are never going to meet, we don’t even roll in the same type of circle and we live in different states and on top of all that I have a man and although I do flirt a lot, too much, I love my man and we have a great relationship. Anywho, while I thought this was all harmless fun I was cracking up while I’m sending him my responses to his tweets and vice versa. So I’m like “oh, I’ll call you or call me, we’ll hang out when you come to Denver,” yeah right like that was going to happen. This is where it turns ugly on his part and I realize that this guy is pissed. It’s still funny to me though, hahahaha! So he’s like “I Googled you, no picture on your Facebook page or your blog you are shady” and all this crazy madness. Why the hell would you Google somebody that you are exchanging tweets with?????? After he peaced me out by saying he didn’t like fake people, I peaced his ass right back. Nina Monroe, for the last time people, is a blog she is not, I repeat, not a real person. I am not a professional blogger so I don’t have to post my picture. The person behind the blog is a professional WOMAN (Corporate Event Planner and Coordinator) who blogs as a hobby. I will never post my picture because I like making my $100k commissions, lol. Y’all know how much big business pays for their company retreats, y’all watch CNN I hope. You think I’m going to give that up because some dehydrated a$$ dude wants to see a picture of me, even if I had my picture up I would never date anyone I met on twitter or myspace or any of that shit. Its harmless flirting all in good fun but if you get all pissy about it that’s on you. Don’t be desperate it is soooooo not attractive!!!!

Congrats To The Nuggets!!!!

Congratulations to the Nuggets, despite all the ugliness that took place in Dallas with the rowdy, rude fans and Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban, The Nuggets returned home on Wednesday, where they are very much loved, and the closed out the series against the Mavericks 4-1. With little to no celebration from the players, they are focused on their next series. Good for them, shout out to all my friends on the team, I'm so proud of the focus and dedication you all have right now!!!!

By the by, Dallas fans should be ashamed of their behavior, we as Nuggets fans would never be so disrespectful, especially to women, mothers and children. How disgracefully for them.

Next Day Air

Hey guys I did see Next Day Air over the weekend and surprisingly I really enjoyed it. I say surprisingly because the critics were going hard on the movie and said it wasn't good, but I liked it. The ending was very much unexpected but that is what you want in a movie, a surprise ending. It is a dark comedy I have to say, so if you don't have the sense of humor for dark comedy you probably shouldn't see it. But overall it is a funny movie, luuuuuvvvsss Mos Def in the movie and I give it 3 out of 5 Nina's..... hahahaha!!!

I also got to see Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, it's a cute chick flick but it was very predictable so I have to say I only give it 1.5 out of 5 Nina's only because it was too predictable.

I didn't see Star Trek but I heard it was really good so I am planning on seeing it soon!

Black Men's Game vs. White Men's Game!!

I am a person who is very aware that I am a black woman; however, I love people of every race and I don’t discriminate. With that being said I can’t help but notice how different the techniques for black men are from white men when they are trying to hit on me. I am around business men and women for most of my day and I get hit on by both sexes. I have to tell you that the black men are much more aggressive with it, they will just come out and ask you “what’s up,” we all know what that means. The white men that hit on me however are much more reserved, they will be really nice to me and ask me if I need anything and they’ll try and buy me gifts, which I don’t except from clients. It’s crazy because ultimately they all want something they can’t have but it trips me out how differently they go about trying to get it. Mind you these men are all from the same social class so it has nothing to do with where they come from or how they were raised. I’m just wondering if other women have had the same experiences with this subject that I have had and which technique do you think is better. In other words, Whose Got Game?????

Why Would Anyone Throw Out The Twilight Script???

Twilight was a huge success at the box office and the sequel is sure to be even bigger, Twilight New Moon is already under way and should hit theaters November 20th of this year. With the huge success of the first movie why would anyone throw the script to the second movie in the trash. Check the link to read the story. I would've held that script for ransom, lol, just joking! By the by if you are a fan of Vampire movies and you haven't seen Twilight yet you have to grab the DVD the movie is good but the book is even better!

I Don't Have Beef With Danger

I keep getting these calls from various friends asking me what happened between me and Danger from the reality show For The Love of Ray J. I don't do beef and there is no problem and never was. Danger was at club 303 in Denver like way back in March so I am not sure why I'm being questioned about anything now, it's May???????? Nothing happened that's all I can say about that, I made a brief appearance at the club by request and I didn't even see Danger so it is what it is.

OMG, Why Am I Getting Called Out On Twitter???

For the second time my flirting has gotten out of hand on Twitter. Anyone who knows me in real life knows I am a harmless flirt but these guys on twitter are so funny. I don't even think I was really flirting this time around but I was called shady and told I might be a man for not having a picture of myself on my twitter page, LOL! It was all in good fun.

For the last time people, I am very well know where I live and I do a lot of corporate event planning and hosting. I try to keep that separate from my hobby of blogging and my new fav Twitter. Call me crazy but I don't think the extremely wealthy and extremely snobby people I work with would enjoy seeing my face on a blog about celebrities, nor would they enjoy my talk about cocktails and my Grey Goosed nights on Twitter.

Listen we are talking about my money here, so sorry if you think I'm ugly or you think I'm a man my money is my money. I just did a corporate event last week and made so much money off that one event I really don't have to work for the rest of the year. I love my job so I won't be taking this year off and miss the opportunity to hob knob with the truly rich and not so famous, well some are famous but I must keep some level of professionalism wouldn't you agree???

Blogging and Twitter are outlets for me people let me enjoy them without being harrased, hahaha!

A Kiss Is Worth A Thousand Words

My girlfriends and I were having this discussion about kissing on the first date. I don't believe in it but that is just me. Now days you can't go around kissing just anybody but my friend makes the argument that you have to kiss within the first few dates to know if the person is a good kisser because you don't want to go out with a bad kisser.

I am a kisser, I love to kiss and might I add I am very good at it but does kissing really make or break a potential relationship. For me I say yes, my friends and I all agreed that a bad kisser ruins any hope of getting to second base. I'm sorry but I can't be with a guy who can't kiss.

I remember going out with this guy in high school and I really liked him and he was sooooooo fine all the girls loved him, he was fine. We went out for like two weeks before I even kissed him and when I did it was over. I feel bad about the fact that I broke up with him over the kissing thing because he was so sweet. Right after our first kiss he took me to his house to meet his mom, how crazy is that. When I got home I called my best friend and told her, 'girl he is fine but he can't kiss.' I had to break up with him. It was sad cuz I actually did something to make him break up with me so I didn't have to break up with him. I know I broke his heart because he really liked me and til this day when he sees me he gives me the evil eye and I feel soooo bad.

Hey a kiss is worth a thousand words and if you can't kiss you can't get anywhere with me. Tonight we will be discussing what makes a guy a great kisser, I'll let you know what my girls say tomorrow. In the meantime work on those kissing skills, LOL!!!!

The Denver Nuggets Go Up 2-0 Against The Dallas Mavericks

The Nuggets beat the Mavericks last night 117 to 105 to take a 2-0 lead in the series. The Pepsi Center was rocking last night, I had to leave a little early but I enjoyed the show while I was there. It was a good game. I have to say this has to be the Cinderella story of the year in the sports world. I have been a Nuggets fan since I was a little girl and I have to say even I am impressed. For the past few years the Nuggets have been riddled with injured players and bad boy behavior, but gone are the days of yesteryear! The Nuggets have transformed into a team that could actually win it all this year. And before you nay sayers get started you have to admit that you can never count the Nuggets out because they can be down by twenty or so points and comeback to win it all. The team is more focused this year, no partying, no early celebrations, it's all about the one game one day at a time and if you ask me its paying off. Keep up the good work fellas, I like it a lot!

Lil Kim Eliminated From Dancing With The Stars

I couldn't believe it, she was one of the best on the show. The crowd went crazy with boos when Kim was shockingly eliminated on Tuesday and everyone was surprised the judges, everybody. She obviously made an impact on everyone on the show especially her partner Derek Hough who seems to have developed a little crush. Nonetheless Kim was my favorite so it's safe to say I won't be watching anymore cuz I could careless who wins now.

Trey Songz Is Too Sexy????

My girls and I where having a conversation last night about how fine, super sexy guys are usually stuck up. One of my friends said she happened to meet Trey once backstage at a concert and he was really stuck up. She said he was really rude and that most fine, sexy guys are stuck up ( and no my friend is not ugly, she kinda looks like Lauren London but she has blue eyes). I tried to explain to my friend that maybe he was tired after the show or maybe she went backstage with the pretense of being a groupie and when it was discovered that she wasn't giving anything up attitudes changed. You can't imagine how many times guys have been rude to me after I tell them they can't get it. But anyway whatever the reason I have to say I actually met Trey once and he was really nice so I am trying to dispell the myth that all fine guys or fine girls for that matter are stuck up. I don't care if that a$$ is stuck up or not Trey Songz is sexy and fine as hell!!!!

How cute is he, he is toooo adorable for words. By the by the lovely LaLa Vasquez is little Kiyan's mommy.

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaack!!!

I was in Vegas but I got home Friday night and I took Saturday off to go check out some movies. I loved X-Men Origins. I also saw Obsession, I thought it was good all though it was a little slow getting to the action but it was good nonetheless. I guess I will be catching up on my DVR tomorrow so I may or may not post depending on if anything worth posting about catches my attention.
